In the Dog House: submission terms

These terms apply when you send a photo to In the Dog House, run by Ironvale Digital, publisher of The Muddy Truth.

Your photo

You must own the photograph or have the photographer's permission to submit it. You keep the copyright. Please don't send photos showing people's faces, children, addresses, car registrations or anything else that identifies someone.

The licence you give us

By submitting, you give us a free, non-exclusive licence to publish your photo, your dog's name, age, breed, award category and description on our website, in The Muddy Brief newsletter (including the "This Month's Most Wanted" feature), and on our social media and promotional material for The Muddy Truth. We may crop or resize the photo and lightly edit the description for length or clarity.

Moderation

Every entry is reviewed by a person before it appears. We may decline or remove any entry at our discretion. Submitting does not guarantee publication or an award, and awards carry no prize unless we say so.

Your email

Your email is never published. We use it only to administer your entry and contact you if your dog is featured. We won't add you to our newsletter unless you tick the separate box.

Removal

You can withdraw at any time using the private removal link shown after you submit, or by emailing us from the address you used. We'll remove the entry from the website promptly; we can't recall newsletters already sent.
